Framing digital photos
Recently I took this very beautiful picture which I really love very much and wish to cherish for the rest of my life. I really do want to display it on my table, so I am thinking of having my digital photos framed. However, I do not think I would want to send my photos to the shop for printing as as apart from the prohibitive costs, I do care about privacy. I wouldn’t want just anyone to see an intimate moment which was captured on camera to be seen by just anyone. Hence that is where I found out about such a company in Australia which has digital picture frame, where you can display your digital pictures. So how do you do that? All you have to do is to just upload your digital photos into a memory card and plug it into a digital frame that can support reading from it, and voila, your pictures are shown.
Cool, huh? I certainly should consider getting one of these.
Jobs in Endiburgh
Some day I would probably move overseas and bring my family with me to work and gain experience in another country. So I looked on the internet for a suitable place to move and I found that Scotland would be a great place to stay. After all, I just love the architecture, language accents and the culture that is associated with Scotland. I also found out that Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and therefore if I want to make a living there, I would need to look for jobs in Endiburgh.
Of course now with the internet, there is a website that will help you find jobs in Edinburgh. Gum Tree is the site of Edinburgh’s online community and you can find everything from Edinburgh jobs, classifieds with houses for rent, dating, online services, and much more. Finding jobs online has never been easier and many companies are paying to be listed. So if you are in Scotland or planning to work to Scotland, this online job resource is just the thing for you.
Boat Angel for charity

What do you do with an an old boat which you no longer use and keep it away in storage under a tarpaulin? Some people will simply throw away the boat or send it to a junkyard as not many people can afford to pay for the upkeep cost and maintain a boat in prime condition. Well, if I have a boat that I no longer require I would certainly donate my boat for a good cause to other people. It would be great if someone were to put the boat to better use for charity work or for helping others and make the world a better place.
A list of Emporium Directory listings
Yesterday I submitted Emporium Directory to LinkBook and Forplex and both these submissions were approved. Since January 2007, I have been submitting the directory to minor and major web directories online, but have never made a proper record of those submissions. So I feel that it would be a good idea to track down and list the major web directories (any web directory with PR4 and above) which Emporium Directory is listed in.
The web directories are:
- Aviva Directory (PR6)
- Directory Dump (PR6)
- Directory@V7N (PR6)
- Seven Seek Web Directory (PR6)
- Forplex Business Directory (PR5)
- Kingbloom Web Directory (PR4)
- Emillie Web Directory (PR5)
- Argus Vision Resource Directory (PR6)
- Eonte Web Directory (PR6)
- The Broadest Web Directory (PR5)
- Leading Directory (PR5)
- SZAB Web Directory (PR4)
- Link Book Directory (PR5)
In the coming weeks, listings in more quality web directories such as DirectoryDump, SZAB Directory and various others will be submitted to.
Getting paid with Smorty
Well paid blogging is all the rage and these days I have gone with Smorty, a paid blogging service, for several months already. I actually get paid for blogging about the advertisers that Smorty publishes, and thus far I have made my living from them. This is certainly not a bad deal for myself as a problogger and for a relatively new company which have been around only for a few months. Advertisers also stand to benefit by paying bloggers in the Smorty network for conveying their opinions about a product or service in order for bloggers to advertise or create a buzz about them on their blogs.
I find the Smorty interface to be very user-friendly for me as I find it very easy to use without any complicated buttons. Smorty states that they will pay bloggers every week after the job offer is approved, so that is something new that has not been done by the other paid to blog networks. And yes, they really do pay me once every week. The only thing that I hope will improve from Smorty is the amount of job offers that they give out to their bloggers, which I feel is very small compared to the offers that one may be able to receive from other networks. Hopefully Smorty will look into that and be a better company in the months to come.
