USD6.00 for 300 words is a bit too much!
Really do not want to bitch about this here, but I think some of the advertisers are really asking for too much when they offer USD6.00 for a writeup of about 300 words. Phew…writing 200 words is already tough enough, imagine the brain power that you have to grind in order to come up with 300 words? Sometimes I even have my 200-words PPP opps rejected because I did not meet the 200 words count — perhaps I was in a hurry and did not properly check the word count, but that is not the point.
The thing is, if you are an advertiser looking for a buzz via PayPerPost and want a 300 words writeup from bloggers, do kindly make an offer between the range of USD8 and USD10, which I think is a much more fairer pricing.
Blogitive announcing new plan for Wordpress bloggers
Blogitive has announced that they will be coming up with a new scheme for Wordpress bloggers. According to them:
I would start creating Wordpress Blogs with your own domain because we have a new product that will be launching soon that will only be available for those Blogs. You won’t be able to use this on free Wordpress Blogs that are on their own domain name.
Details of this “new product” is unknown at the moment but knowing Blogitive, it will certainly be revolutionary and enticing for bloggers looking to earn money online. Blogitive has been a consistent programme and I am certainly very satisfied with it.
Reviewing John Chow dot Com
I’ve always been a fan of John Chow dot Com and love the way he writes about technology and SEO stuff in such a humourous, personalised manner. So when my favourite tech blog (apart from LiewCF, that is) decides to give a free link back for every review he gets, its too good of a chance to pass up. To date, he has categorised his reviews according to batches (10 blogs for each batch) and currently it is at batch no 17. According to him it won’t be long before it goes into batch no 18 and who knows when this offer will end. No, I am not interested in the USB MiniTV prize, I am more interested in getting a back link and much needed exposure
So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and review his blog now before I miss out.
Anyway, I find John Chow dot Com to be more of a personalised SEO/technology blog of a person who has been slowly climbing up the online money-making ladder and sharing his experiences with his readers on how exactly he did that. The posts that are contained in the blog are very useful and I love the tips and tricks on how to optimise your blog for SEO in order to gain traffic and readership. And of course, more moola. He also does paid blogging from ReviewMe, and it is interesting to see that his reviews are honest and unbiased even though he is being paid for the job. Well, I am certainly quite far away from achieving what John Chow has achieved (this blog is after all a miserly PR2) but I wish him well and certainly he will find much success online.
Now, can I get my free back link, please? ![]()

Now here is a very long list (more than two pages!) of 101 ways of making money online. Some are quite known to me but others give me a new insight on how to diversify your income online and are new ways to earn online that I never knew existed before. I will certainly be trying out most of the recommendations that are available in the article. Indeed, making money online is one of the best and most rewarding experience, if you play your cards right you can even show your middle finger at the ex-boss, like me
One of the best ways to earn money online is to get paid for blogging, you can sign up for PayPerPost by clicking that blue button on the right. However you will need to have good Google PR numbers to take the Opportunities and this is where Emporium Directory comes in. Emporium Directory is a general web directory containing quality and hand-picked listings at affordable rates for webmasters and bloggers. Submit your website today to improve your backlinks, SEO and traffic needs.
Earning from Contextual Links @ V7N
I was just paid for inserting links from advertisers for the Contextual Links @ V7N. Unlike the other paid postings networks such as PayPerPost or Blogitive, this program does not require you to blog about the advertiser. All you need to do is to insert the link in a current blog post that is relatively new and “contextual” to the advertiser link. You are also not allowed to disclose that the link is a paid advertisement nor the amount that you receive from it, as per their Terms of Service. However I can tell you that for just inserting an advertiser link, they are paying much more than a single post does for PayPerPost or Blogitive.
To take assignments from them, you need to be registered at the V7N forums and PM your blog details to John Scott, the administrator, or Julie, a staff member. They currently accept only PR3 blogs and above and no Blogspot or other free blogging services, the blogs must be on a personal domain.
